Try These South Haven Wineries and Tasting Rooms
Cogdal Vineyards is a South Haven winery that serves innovative pours near the lakeshore. This vineyard sits atop land owned by the Cogdal family for years. What started as fruit and vegetable farm has transformed over time. At one point, the land was a Christmas tree farm! Now, Cogdal Vineyards serves several carefully grown, fermented, bottled, and poured whites, reds, and blends. View a list of their wines and dream of what you’ll sip on your trip!
The Cogdal’s have struck gold with their vineyard because of it’s close proximity to Lake Michigan. This location, approximately a half-mile, allows for more regulated temperatures that are ideal for wine grapes. Today, the vineyard grows across seven acres and has plans for expansion.
Warner Vineyards wines are a South Haven novelty. Not only is Warner’s one of the state’s oldest wineries, but it has also been managed by the same family for three generations. This summer marks their 81st anniversary! Warner Vineyards has tastings rooms across the great state of Michigan, including one in South Haven.
The South Haven tasting room’s hours vary year-round, but in the high season, you can generally expect it to be open from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays. This tasting room is located in the heart of downtown South Haven with outdoor patio seating for our crisp summer nights. For groups of more than 10, call ahead for a group reservation to ensure you get the best service possible.
